From a Figma design

Use the EmailSlicer plugin to slice your frame and prepare a template. It can derive alternative text from visible text layers within a slice. Review the extracted text and enter the destination links before importing to the client’s Klaviyo account.

From an exported image

Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP to the web app. Set your cuts and compression, then download the slices, upload them to Klaviyo or use Create Klaviyo template. The template form includes a name, default link, preview text and settings per slice.

From an email captured in Gmail

The Chrome extension captures a selected email as PNG or standalone HTML. Save it for reference or send the capture to Figma with an eligible plan. A PNG reference is flattened; capturing an email does not automatically recreate its editable blocks or publish it to Klaviyo.

From your design to the next campaign

  1. Choose images or a template

    Use images when you already have a layout in Klaviyo. Choose template creation when you want the slices assembled in their visual order.

  2. Set the handoff details

    Choose the client account, give the template a recognizable name and check default and per-slice links. Add preview text and review the alt text.

  3. Finish in Klaviyo

    Open the imported result and check images, spacing and destinations. Add dynamic product blocks or live text where needed, then preview and test the email.

Questions before you start

Can I paste any email URL and import it automatically?

The documented workflow starts with a Figma design, an uploaded image or a selected email captured from Gmail. EmailSlicer does not promise a general-purpose URL-to-editable-Klaviyo converter.

Does a template import preserve my links and alt text?

Template creation includes the default link and each slice’s link and alternative text. Review those values before import. A plain image download does not carry clickable HTML links by itself.

Is direct Klaviyo import available on every plan?

Integration access depends on your plan. Check the current pricing and your account before using direct import. Image downloads and template imports are separate actions.
